Europeans - Jens Christensen and crew wins...

 

The Europeans raced in Boltenhagen Germany - a fantastic regatta with 73 dragons on the starting line.
7 races was sailed over 5 racing days. Jens Christensen and his crew surprised and took the medal and titel from the dominating champ Markus in the final race.
Our dragons was dominating the top - and ended 2nd with Wieser and crew and 3rd with Evgeny Braslavets - a black flag for both teams in the first race (together with Lars Hendriksen and 15 other dragons) - gave challenges!

Thank you a lot to the Boltenhagen team ashore as well as the Libor family who once again managed to make a fantastic event.

Lars Hendriksen and Bunker Boys wins Coupe Credit Mutuel.

- Royal Dragons on the first 3 places in Douarnenez.

Fredericia BoatShow 2011

 

Meet Royal Dragon together with the Danish Dragon association at Fredericia Boat Show 2010 at stand E-4112. The show is in the weekend Feb 25. - 27. and March 3. - 6.

You will at the show find 2 spectacular dragons - and Harboe will be host for a drink.

The Dragon Worlds 2011

 

A fantastic regatta with 70 dragons sailing in Melbourne underline that the dragon is the strongest class in the world.

The sailing conditions in Melbourne was very difficult, which was an even bigger challenge for the sailors.

 

The winner of the worlds - Lawrie Smith a newcomer in the class but a british sailor icon - and with his crew Tim Tavinor and Ossie Steward. On the second place came Markus Wieser and his Transbunker Team and the third Frank Berg in his old My Way, who also took the Corinthian trophy - for the best amateur crew.

 

From a Royal Dragon point of view we where placed in the top 10 with the Transbunker Team - Yevgen Braslavez fourth and Lars Hendriksen fifth.

The Dragon Worlds 2011

 

The Worlds in Melbourne is the important start of the season 2011.

We are having several team saling "down under" and will report with important news.

The best start for Royal Dragon...

 

The Gold Cup in Marstrand is started - and we have after the first 2 days of racing a very good position with the teams sailing in our dragons. 3 of the top 5 is our dragons...
Werner Fritz at the 1st place, Lars Hendriksen at 3rd and Karl Gustav Löhr at 5th.

Hendriksen wins in Sweden...

Lars Hendriksen and his crew number one at the Marstrand Regattan - Swedish Championship 2010 and the tune up for the Gold Cup beginning next week. 33 dragons was top tuned and the top of the fleet was performing excellent.
The conditions was shifting from light wind to heavy and with major Kattegat waves. Probably the same conditions we will see at the Gold Cup.

Congratulations to Lars and his crew for winning in their Royal Dragon - and again thanks to the race comity for a good and well organized event - as always when we are racing in Sweden.

Dragon Grand Prix 2010

 

Markus Wieser, Sergei Pugachev and Matti Paschen UKR 7 and the Transbunker Sailing team was the clear winner of the grand prix – sailing in the Royal Dragon ”Bunker Queen”. They were already in the lead after 6 races, so that it could cancel its 7th race.

Congratulations to Markus and his team – further more congratulations to Christian Boillot from France who showed good speed in his brand new Royal Dragon launched for the first time at the Grand Prix.

Finally thanks to the organisation behind the Grand Prix who managed to make the best event due to the difficult conditions.
