The RD 2008 Dragon is fitted with a new stiff chain plate-system which allows easy adjustment of schrouds position.

 The front crew has got very functional working conditions because of the bridge below cabin top, which holds following lines: Jib roller with endless haul, genoa halyard, cunningham haul, mast controller forward, spinnaker halyard, spinnaker boom topping lift/downhaul, diamond common control and spinnaker hatch shute. Fast and precise genoa winchless-system and new Barbarhaul-system to allow tighter, more inboard sheeting. Following lines is controlled on top of cabin top: |

All lines adjustable on both sides and easy to operate from cockpit as well as from hiking position. Middle and helmsman control mainsail and mast aft controller.
New lower curved mainsheet bridge for better control. Following controls are positioned on the bridge: Main sheet, fine tune main sheet, backstay, stb and port diamond control, outhaul, runners and fine tune runners, mast control aft and boom vang. |
